Katamino: Family

Katamino by Andre & Jonathan Perriolat and Gigamic is a one to two-player puzzle game for ages 3 to adult. Includes 18 wooden playing pieces, wooden board with sliders, 40 cards and rulebook with various play options.

In this junior version of Katamino, two players compete to fill all of the empty spaces first. The game is played over a number of rounds, with each round becoming progressively harder, making it an ideal game that can grow with your child.

Katamino also works as a solitaire puzzle, with the solver trying to fit the pieces onto the playing area in different ways.

The colorful wooden polyominoes can also be used for creating interesting mosaics or building free-form structures, and is an ideal addition to the classroom or homeschool curriculum to encourage STEM and STEAM thinking.
