"The Town that Saved Christmas: A History of Creativity" is an Ornament History guide prepared for Wellsboro's Seventh Annual Christmas on Main Street event in December 2022, and is a beautiful keepsake describing Wellsboro's important role in Christmas glass ornament production. This year's tour provides a wonderful overview of Wellsboro's Glass History and the creative contributions this community made to the history of glass manufacturing.

Christmas on Main Street is held in Wellsboro annually during the second weekend of December, and celebrates our town's role in saving Christmas during World War II and beyond. Visit each year to learn more about this fascinating story, take the tour, collect the guidebooks, and participate in the many family-friendly activities throughout Wellsboro.

100% of the cost of this guidebook is donated to the Wellsboro Glass Historical Association to establish a permanent home and museum to preserve and share this story and associated artifacts.
