"The Town that Saved Christmas: Shaping Our Traditions" is an Ornament History guide prepared for Wellsboro's Fourth Annual Christmas on Main Street event in December 2019, and is a beautiful keepsake describing Wellsboro's important role in Christmas glass ornament production. This edition focuses particularly on the evolution of different Christmas ornament shapes, designs and trends, and how Wellsboro contributed to these trends.

Christmas on Main Street is held in Wellsboro annually during the second weekend of December, and celebrates our town's role in saving Christmas during World War II and beyond. Visit each year to learn more about this fascinating story, take the tour, collect the guidebooks, and participate in the many family-friendly activities throughout Wellsboro.
